Rev Dr Jeremy Worthen
Jeremy came to the Parish in 2020, having been part of the Canterbury Diocese since completing his curacy in the Diocese of Rochester in 1997. During that time he was first on the staff of what was then called the South East Institute for Theological Education and is now St Augustine’s College of Theology, including eight years as Principal, and then served as Secretary for Ecumenical Relations and Theology at the Church of England’s Council for Christian Unity. Before ordination, his studies included a spell in Toronto, Canada, and he continues to enjoy exploring new horizons through reading and travel. He is married to Lizzie, a paediatric nurse, and they have two daughters and six grandchildren.
