Experience Easter: Fixing A Broken World 

Welcome to "Experience Easter" – a unique School Easter program that takes your students on an unforgettable journey through the heart of Christianity. In these engaging 45-minute sessions, hosted at Kingnorth Church, students will explore fundamental concepts aligned with the RE national curriculum and deepen their understanding of Christianity.

​The session begins by delving into the Christian belief in the creation of the world, emphasising humanity's responsibility to care for the magnificent creation designed by God. As the narrative unfolds, students witness the brokenness that ensued due to human choices and explore the attempts to fix this brokenness throughout history.

Sessions:

  • Each session is a 45-minute adventure designed to pique children's curiosity and spark meaningful discussions.

  • Available on-site at Kingsnorth Church.

  • Our sessions would be experienced best as one class per session, but we understand this is not always possible, so there is scope for multiple classes per session if  really needed.

  • Our Sessions are tailored towards Pre-schools, Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6.

Triumphal Entry:

Experience the excitement in Jerusalem as Jesus enters the city, sparking hope and anticipation. Children actively participate, waving palm branches and engaging in the atmosphere.

Last Supper + Crucifixion:

Understand the significance of the Last Supper and witness the emotional journey of Jesus leading up to His crucifixion. This interactive session allows children to connect with the events on a personal level.

Resurrection:

Explore the miraculous resurrection of Jesus, bringing hope and joy to His followers. Children reflect on the emotions of Jesus' friends and engage in creative activities to express their understanding.

Today:

ExplorConnect the entire narrative to the present day, illustrating how Jesus' sacrifice mends our brokenness. Participants witness a symbolic act of putting broken pieces at the foot of the cross, highlighting the transformative power of faith.
